Brian
Testa
Painter and public artist working across exhibition, residency, and commission — from Long Island to Kosovo, Egypt to Italy.
About the Artist
Brian Testa is a New York-based painter and teaching artist whose practice spans the intimate and the monumental — from solo gallery exhibitions to large-scale public murals, from private collections to international residencies.
Over fourteen years of continuous work, his canvases have entered homes, institutions, and public spaces across four continents. His imagery draws from the coastal landscapes of Long Island: marshes, shorelines, tidal light; translated into universal visual language.
Since 2023, Testa has maintained an especially active presence in the Balkans, completing solo exhibitions and artist residencies in Kosovo that connect his American coastal sensibility with the cultural memory of the region.
