Curated By: Brian Testa, 2021
This two person exhibition explores how a 3-Dimensional virtual reality can be used as a tool to showcase artwork exploring Indigenous identities. This exhibit seeks to use the tools of Web 3.0 to share the images and interviews that are disrupting post-colonial narratives, allowing the viewer to question the incorrectly established status quo.
Jeremy Dennis is a contemporary fine art photographer and a tribal member of the Shinnecock Indian Nation in Southampton, NY. In his work, he explores indigenous identity, culture, and assimilation.
Heidi C. Powell, an artist and scholar of Native American
(Lenni Lenape) and Norwegian descent, explores global initiatives in arts practice and pedagogy, conducting most of her research in Guatemala.
